How much caffeine?

How much caffeine a cup of coffee has is depending on how the coffee is prepared. For example, 30 ml of instant coffee has 65-100mg of caffeine. On the other hand, 30 ml of drip coffee has 115-175 mg of caffeine. Even decaf coffee has about 3 mg of caffeine per cup (30 ml capacity).

* A cup of tea (1/4 litre) has 30 mg to 90 mg of caffeine.

Hullo again Hisako!

It is so nice to see the correct measuring of a cup of coffee as you have posted here.

This is something about me Hisako. As a matter of fact, coffee is my favourite drink. Everyday, I should have a cup of coffee in the morning, and when return home in the evening, I always have two to three cups of coffee. This means everyday, I always have four cups of coffee, and the expectation of the coffee to be much stronger to make me awake a bit longer.

My family doctor has advised me of this, and now, you have talked again about the caffeine in coffee. So, what shall I do now?

You know what! Keep researching and tell me more about the disadvantage of drinking too much coffee.

Hello Poeelama,
If your doctor advised to do so, I think there is no problem to drink four cups of coffee a day.
If I find some more information about demerits of coffee, I will tell you!
